This project focused on creating a clear, welcoming, and accessible online home for Hoʻōla Farms. Cocomo.dev partnered with the organization to implement their existing branding in a way that gave the site a cohesive, professional look while remaining warm and approachable. Special care was taken to designing clean layouts that would look great on both desktop and mobile devices, with large, legible fonts and strong color contrast.
Beyond design, the site included advanced functionality to support Hoʻōla’s educational programs and community. Custom user roles were created for staff, volunteers, and students participating in online agricultural courses, along with a flexible course structure that allowed instructors to manage modules and control class visibility with ease. An advanced contact form helped route inquiries more thoughtfully—ensuring veterans and caregivers receive the right kind of support as quickly as possible.
Cocomo.dev also helped build out informational pages for Hoʻōla’s Farm-to-Car initiative and connected the website to an external online store through software integration. Supporting local agriculture and healing for veterans and their caregivers was especially meaningful, and this project is a strong example of how thoughtful web development can directly support care, access, and community impact.
