My commitment
Cocomo.dev wants this website to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom, or other assistive technology. I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the most widely used standard for accessible websites.
What I’ve done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages have a clear heading structure and a main content area for screen readers.
- I’ve added text descriptions (alt text) to the photos, logos, and screenshots across the site, to the best of my ability, so screen readers can describe them.
- Text and buttons are checked for color contrast.
- Forms have labels, and required fields are marked.
- You can also use your browser’s and device’s built-in tools to zoom in, change text size, or use a screen reader.
Known limitations
- Some text placed over photos or color gradients may have lower contrast than I’d like.
- I can’t guarantee that every image has a text description. Images added recently may not have been reviewed yet, and I check new uploads as part of my regular reviews.
- Project gallery screenshots have short descriptions rather than full text versions of each page shown.
- Some features come from other companies, such as Google’s spam protection on the contact form, and I can’t fully control how accessible they are.
I review the site regularly and fix issues as I find them.
