Lane Workforce Partnership is Lane County’s workforce development board: the nonprofit that connects job seekers, employers, educators, and community partners to training, career services, and investment across the region. I redesigned and rebuilt their WordPress website from the ground up, with a fresh visual style—colors, fonts, layout, and imagery—and a structure built around who’s visiting: people looking for work and training, businesses hiring and growing their teams, and partners and the public who want to see the impact.
The site turns a lot of public information into something easy to find and keep current. It includes an animated “By the Numbers” impact section, a success-story carousel, a meetings hub with public notices, agendas, and minutes for the Board, Council, and committees, a reports and financials library, standards and policies in English and Spanish, and the Oregon Self-Sufficiency Standard with embedded data dashboards. I also set up newsletter signup, contact forms, and an Instagram feed, site-wide translation, cookie consent and privacy compliance, and solid SEO, security, and backups. I continue to provide ongoing support and hands-on training so the team can post meeting packets, reports, and news on their own.
